Risk Synopsis: Worms appear to be the most active malware threat presently.
There is a large appearance of worms created for the purpose of helping
attackers build networks of computers with zombie processes which can then be
tasked with work designed to financially benefit the attacker (e.g., the
transmission of spam). Keep your systems patched and anti-malware signatures up
to date. Disable unneeded services and features to reduce your attack surface.
